Reddwerks Corporation Now Shipping Reddwerks v3.3 WPM Software
AUSTIN, Texas – December 3, 2008 – Reddwerks® announced today that it is shipping and deploying Reddwerks v3.3 of its industry-leading Warehouse Performance Management (WPM) solution.
Reddwerks WPM provides a single order-filling solution independent of picking technology. Reddwerks WPM v3.3 adds new applications to its RF mobile platform, including improved labor management, waveless planning features, pallet planning, and workflows for floor stack and pallet-based shipping.
New planning features reduce supervisor required time tenfold; supervisors will be better able to properly plan work assignments and zoning. Improved waveless views provide a clearer overview of facility product flow between areas like selection, QC, packing, and loading to better manage material flow through the warehouse.
Palletizing workflows now require scan confirmations that support user views by container, stops, or pallet stacks. Pallet forecasting features automatically plan pallets, cases, and containers to be stacked in proper sequence for floor stacking or pallet loading straight into the trailer.
“We continue to add functionality to our third generation software,” said Jean Bélanger, Founder/CEO of Reddwerks. “The Reddwerks WPM v3.3 release is particularly interesting because for the first time we are able to process orders in large-scale facilities, optimized for fixed truck routes in constrained shipping capacity, such that end-to-end order processing is optimized across multiple picking technologies through to the shipping door in the exact reverse order that orders must be delivered.”
Reddwerks v3.3 began shipping in Q4/2008 and is already in use at several customer sites.
