Former SVP of FKI Logistex Joins Reddwerks Management Team
AUSTIN, Texas - April 18, 2008 - Reddwerks® today announced the appointment of Michael W. Brown as Vice President Sales.
Mr. Brown is a former Senior Vice President of FKI Logistex and was one of the founding equity partners in Alvey Inc. From 1988-2000 Alvey Inc. acquired 11 companies servicing the material handling and warehouse systems market and had annual sales in excess of $400 million. In 2000, it was renamed Pinnacle Automation and sold to FKI plc. Mr. Brown held a variety of positions at Pinnacle/Alvey including President of their Integrated Business Solutions group, which generated sales of more than $100 million. Mr. Brown holds an M.B.A. from Xavier University, a B.Sc. (Business Administration) from Northern Kentucky University and a B.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Brown will report to Jean Bélanger, the company's Founder/CEO, and continue to work in St. Louis, MO.
