Reddwerks Demonstrates Advanced Software Applications for Motorola Devices
Company Will Unveil Unique Features at EMS North America 2010 Sales Conference
AUSTIN, Texas – February 8, 2010 – Reddwerks Corporation, a leading provider of warehouse performance management (WPM) software and solutions, announced that the company will be sponsoring Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Systems Sales Conference and demonstrating new mobile applications on the company's WPM mobile platform.
Reddwerks will demonstrate features beneficial for either voice- or scan-based workflows, including:
- Quick Workload Balance – Rezone workers based on workload and availability without having to load specific zone templates or re-assign workers zone by zone. Reddwerks WPM software will balance the worker assignments across zones, crucial for hitting cut-off times.
- Selecting - Associates select the item or case where they are most needed, when they are needed. The Selecting application allows you to quickly address bottlenecks, scale workforce according to peak times and expedite hot orders.
- Quality Control (QC) - Perform quality control instantly, anywhere in the warehouse, reducing QC Associates' walk time, fulfilling mispicks and underpicks and assigning outs to mobile application users. Associates are also able to assign workflows based on experience and track metrics down to the selector and location area for trending reports and analysis.
- Container Management - Validate container contents without requiring a full QC check. The container audit function allows managers to view every user, zone, and conveyor scanner that has seen or worked on a container, as well as when it happened. Users have the ability to utilize different containers to balance loads, fix incorrect splits or fulls, move items from damaged containers, and reprint shipping labels—anywhere in the pick line.
“Our partnership with the Motorola Enterprise Mobility Systems Group is a crucial component of our full Warehouse Performance Management solution,” said Mike O’Brien, Senior Vice President of Sales at Reddwerks.“ Our customers utilize Motorola’s lightweight and durable RF and wearable devices to attain complete warehouse optimization.”
Reddwerks WPM software is unique in that it allows real-time processing of information, giving power to associates and managers to take corrective actions “on the fly” in order to optimize the efficiency and accuracy of operations. Reddwerks mobile applications have an intuitive, easy-to-use, and attractive user interface, significantly contributing to speed and accuracy. The software was developed to take advantage of key features in Motorola's groundbreaking mobile devices and scanners.
Reddwerks will be exhibiting in booth 708 at the Motorola Enterprise Mobility Solutions North America 2010 Sales Conference in Orlando, Florida February 9 - 12th.
