Reddwerks Corporation Now Shipping Reddwerks v3.4 WPM Software

AUSTIN, Texas – January 5, 2009 – Reddwerks® announced today that it is shipping and deploying version 3.4 of its industry-leading Warehouse Performance Management (WPM) solution.

Reddwerks WPM provides a single order-filling solution independent of picking technology. Reddwerks WPM v3.4 adds over 100 new performance labor metrics, new dashboard views, new quality control reports, new forward inventory exceptions tracking, system performance improvements, support for mobile printers with RF, and voice and improved PTL workflows, such as our new task interleaving.

New OLAP reports, delivered in time, track more than 100 metrics for stockers, QC agents, pallet builders, and selectors.  All reports can be viewed at multiple aggregation levels from users, shift, technology, facility area, or across the entire facility. Reports show totals, rates, and averages and can be easily exported to file formats including Microsoft Excel.

Reddwerks WPM v3.4 also adds a report viewer for end-of-day, weekly, or monthly trending or period-over-period reports that support web viewing, Microsoft Excel export, and graphing.

End-of-day services have also been enhanced to support batch processing, scheduled events, and custom scripts written in Perl, Python, Java, or other languages. These scripts support customer enhancements without requiring software upgrades or risk downtime.

"The goal of Reddwerks release WPM 3.4 was to automatically adjust priorities in one area of large-scale facilities with events occurring in another to improve material flow and eliminate exception cases,” according to Jean Bélanger, Reddwerks Founder/CEO. He went on to say, “For example, we control the sequence of stocking work assignments by dynamically looking ahead in the order queues to ensure what needs to be picked next can be, and if not, to hold those orders until inventory is made available. This drastically reduces product shortages."

Reddwerks v3.4 began shipping in Q1/2009 and is already in use at several customer sites.
